We do not enter a business assuming everything must be replaced. The people running the operation already hold real operating knowledge. That knowledge is an asset, not a problem.

We capture it, build the infrastructure around it, and remove the parts of the operation that depend on memory, rework, and manual intervention.

2024

Hyperscale Datacenter — Active and Ongoing

Electrical specialty contractor, hyperscale data center program under a general contractor joint venture

01Constraint

Owner-driven delay was accumulating on a live hyperscale program faster than the project team could document it, leaving cost impact unprovable at the moment it mattered.

02Preserved

The contractor's existing field routine, crews, and reporting rhythm. Nothing about how the work was executed was replaced.

03Modernized

An execution record layer running alongside the team: contract, schedule, procurement, change, and field activity captured as a structured, source-cited sequence while the project was still running.

04Result

Twenty-four weeks of delay structured into a defensible cost impact sequence, over $500K in recovery supported, and thirteen consecutive months of continuous production use.

2012-2014

Byron Rogers Federal Building — The Problem Gets Personal

Federal office building modernization, Denver, CO — Senior Electrical Project Manager

01Constraint

A six-figure claim was moving against the firm and the record needed to answer it existed only as scattered, unstructured project documents.

02Preserved

The project's own daily reports, correspondence, and schedule updates. The evidence was already there; it had never been organized for the question being asked.

03Modernized

The full delay and cost impact sequence, reconstructed by hand into a correlated timeline that tied each condition to its commercial consequence.

04Result

The claim position was reversed into a recovery for the firm, and the thesis was set: commercial outcomes are determined by whether the record exists in structured form when it is needed.

2020-2021

$300M MEP Contractor — Salesforce CMIS Deployment

01Constraint

A $300M mechanical and electrical contractor was running project coordination through individual memory, spreadsheets, and email, so operational knowledge reset with every transition.

02Preserved

How the field already worked. The deployment was built around the existing workflow rather than forcing the crews into a generic process.

03Modernized

A custom construction management information system deployed as the shared operating environment for project data and structured operational memory.

04Result

First proof that the field will adopt structured operational memory when it is built around real execution, and confirmation that the gap was exactly as diagnosed.

2011

Trade Training Delivery — Project Manager and Instructor

Regional specialty contractor with an in-house training academy — project manager and course instructor

01Constraint

Competency lived with a handful of experienced operators, and generic curriculum did not match the conditions crews were actually facing on active work.

02Preserved

The judgment of the experienced operators already in the organization, treated as the source material rather than something to replace.

03Modernized

Course material authored from live field conditions and taught back inside the company academy: safety competency, contracts and change, inspection practice, and supervisor development.

04Result

Crews and supervisors trained on the scope they were executing, with instruction that stayed current with practice and a listing still published years later.

2003

Expeditionary Power Sustainment — Operation Iraqi Freedom

2d Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2d Marine Division — generator mechanic, Combat Operations Center power

01Constraint

Combat Operations Center power had to be sustained under a degraded supply path with no added manpower available.

02Preserved

The people already on station and the equipment already in service. The fix could not depend on anything arriving from outside.

03Modernized

Lateral sourcing outside the planned supply path, paired with preventive maintenance training delivered directly to on-station personnel.

04Result

Mission continuity held and the capability gap closed locally, recognized by battalion-level commendation.

Stations
